I don't have much knowledge on mod motors but I think it should get you at leastlow 12 if not a high 11 maybe even better.

You might squeak into the 11's. An aftermarket higher stall torqu converter will help you a ton.

I want to install a torque converter but not sure where to start with that, im not too familiar with brands and what size to go. I know this much, i want to keep it still street driveable but be able to get some great 60 foot times. What brand should I go with and how much are we lookin? I have a guy to install, will it also have to be tuned?

Edge or Precision Industries are good companies. Plan on spending $700 or so. I am not sure about a tune, but it might need one.

One more question, what would be the safest shot to run on a stock 4.6? 150 shot wet or 100 and is it okay to run it straight or with colder plugs?

i would probably swap in some colder plugs, 100 shot should be fine the 150 might be pushing it i dont know how muh power a mod motor can handle

ps. good luck at the track you should be around 11.8 is my guess with that much power it depends a lot on driving ability so if your a good driver you should be seeing some impressive times

Thanks alot for the advice, well the car is automatic and i can stall it with the mickey thompsons to at least, 2grand or 2100 and spray out the hole. I may just stick with a 100 shot, you think I can still break 11's? cause I am a good driver and launch pretty good.
