There's a sensor that's not connected or is sending a faulty signal.
At what engine speed is this happening?
The O2 sensors could be reading a lean mixture and causing the ECM to pour fuel into the engine.
Make sure on the timing. If it's set too far after TDC it can cause this also.I wouldn't use the timing marks on the damper for this since this is a different engine.Pull out the number one plug and make sure of the timing mark's accuracy.

the mark on damper is dead on i used a straw to make sure my piston was completely up on the compression stroke then i installed the dizzy then set the timing to 10* btdc i dont think it would be a sensor cause i used all of my original sensors and they were in good working order befor i started ill have to find an ohm meter and test them does anyone know what it should read andyou can see the light inside the headersat any engine speed above 1200 rpm

yep, usually its either a timing issue or running to rich, since he said he set it at 10* btdc which is pretty conservative im assuming its running too rich.

I dont know much about speed density, you might want to try asking this in the 5.0 tech section to see if you can get someone who can help out

are you running cats? they might be clogged or there could be a broken piece of the honeycomb sitting sideways and blocking flow.
