Mach 1 Tokicos vs Tokico blues
I have a 04 GT Convertable and I've decided to lower it with the Eibach Pro kit.
Originally I planned to use the Tokico blues that MM sells that are made for lowered Mustangs. I can get those for around $300.
Or I can get the Mach 1 Tokicos for $180 so I'm wondering if the extra $120 is worth it. I know the difference between the 2 shocks and that the Mach 1s aren't made to work with a 1.5" drop, but I know a lot of people use them anyways.
So what do you think? Keep in mind I have a Convertable so my car is a little heavier than a coupe.

Did you check the Stang Suspension vendor's website on this forum? Not sure who MM is but I think they're ripping you off...
The Tokico Blues should be a big improvement, be good for the 2 inch drop (which I just ordered) and are only like $90 on their site..

Let me know what you end up doing.. good luck,

I wont be ordering through them, but one of their vendors. I can get all 4 shocks/struts for $300.
I'm sure there online advisor is excellent, but I wanted opinions from people who actually have it.
Thanks

But I was looking at the Tokico HPs part numbers HB3026 and HE3723. They are supposed to be the same as the ones you posted but designed to work with lowered Mustangs, according to Maximum Motorsports.
Is your car lowered? What springs to you have and how do you like the ride?

How do you like the Tokico HP's? Have you lowered your car at all? I'm currently looking for new shocks/struts for my car and I was looking at those on ebay as well. I have a 99 gt that's lowered 1.25 inches all around. will the ride quality be smoother with the Tokico HP's or will it harsher than stock? I've heard that these may make my ride quality a little harsher. I'm looking for smoother ride quality since my car is an everyday driver. Thanks.
