im building a mustang. i need to knowsome things a bouut the 8.8.

what is the width flange to flange on the rear from a fox body, and the rear from a sn95 or newer rear???

if i cut the axel ends off and install the big nine inch ends from strange will any of the disc brakes still fit or would i be best to go with a kit later, and will i use regular style 9inch axels.
i know the length will be custom

also what can i expect to pay for a trac lock rear fox body or the later, an can i change the side gears to higher spline?

im probably going to use the fox body rear (pending width) since im gonna chop the ends then the brakes wont fit so why pay for the extra, i might just get a cheap drum open rear but all info is welcome
