Well you all know I bought it. I shot some video of it. Including at the races last night. Also it turns out it does have a 411 rear end not 410.

Yesterday I picked up a hood for 15 bucks and a set of drivers side lights for 30 bucks. Can't go wrong there. Also I need a driver side window and a guy is selling the whole door with everything on it for just 50 bucks. I may get it just for the window and take it out. Then maybe resell the door. Someone out there has to need the door.

Ok here is an update on the car. Video coming at some point. I talk to the owner today and here is what he says.

The rear end is not a 411 thought that is what he said in the beginning. He said yeah it's probably a 410. Also he said it is a 93 cobra engine with gt40 heads and an E303 cam. I have not looked those up yet but I am guessing they are decent. He said the cam is just a mild cam.

Also this car does 81 mph in 5th gear at 3,500rpm. Would getting a 6 speed standard allow me to keep the low end torgue but in 6th allow me to get up to some higher speeds and dropping the rpms?

Just swap the 4:10 gears out with 3:73.

If I go with 3:73 won't that greatly effect my times on the track. From what he said it is set up for drag. Which I like. But at highway speeds it sucks. Maybe it would just allow me to get my first gear back.

Dude,
Dont be retartded......
Dont spend a dime on that car till you get the lein off of it.
I bet a million that the seller already told the lein holder to quit calling him, he dont have the car no more.
You were crazy for buying it unless you were gonna part it out.
I wouldnt be caught dead in that fox body.
man part it out.
sell it,
take it back you are asking for trouble.

That is a normal Ford 5.0 V-8.
Not Cobra.
Intake and plenum is wrong.
MAF is wrong.
