i have an 02 as well. I wouldn't bother with a CAI but i would do exhaust. I have a magnapack catback for now but you would want to get an X pipe and some headers to get some higher numbers numbers from the dyno. I dont have a shifter yet because im looking to get some warrenty work done for my 2nd gear syncros and i dont want them bitc.hing about that. But i hear the steeda tri ax and pro 5.0 are great shifters. You may want to get lower gear (numerically higher) maybe a 373 or 4.10s would be nice. oh and welcome to the forums

I have a 99GT. One of the first mods I ever did to my car was a MAC cold air intake. It was great, looked great (polished with chrome look to it), worked great. I felt a slight power increase in my car after I put it in. It also made the engine sound a little bit deeper whenever I floored it. It's a great first mod. I think it was decently priced for what I got. Although, I did remove it because I installed a blower. But, if you want to get a cold air intake, I suggest you check out the MAC polished cold air intakes.

A good fist mod or a good thing to do is to reprogram the E.C.U to squeeze more power out of your car
