Nice car. Looks nice outside nice and clean . Looks good. The Interrior needs a little work, I dont realy like tan interriors, Always liked the darker interior colors.. But I'd take it for the right price. hehe Nice find.

Always loved the dash on the 86's.Great find. I looked all over the net for production numbers with your interior but couldn't find any. I haven't seen it before either. Hope it isn't a problem to find interior panels for it as you bring her back to prime.

Tan was an available interior color earlier but I think it was dropped around 83. What ever the year I'm positive it was not normally available in a GT in 85 or 86. Your only interior options were grey or red. You could have a special order interior but my guess is you either have an early model that was converted to a GT, or it could be an interior swap was done.
I love the white exterior. I had an 88 in white over tan, that was a 4cyl. I do have an 86 GT and that is bright red over grey. There are books avaialable that list production numbers and available options but they can only break down the numbers based on what Ford kept track of at the time.

I will have to look it up. I was told that it was the original interior so i dont realy know.
I do know that i'm going to find out how far a stock engine will go with twin turbos on it though. I knowstock motorscan go 10's,,, but we are going for nines. Wish me luck.

Here a two references that say the tan was available in all '86's so I must be wrong but I'll bet it was an uncommon choice.
