Anyone had issues like this? Not being able to put my car in gear
I went to move my car today and i couldn't take my car out of park....It seemed like my brakes were not registering the ok to take my car out of park, My brake lights are not even lighting up....( YES, i tried the fuses) Anyone else had this problem or know why it is doing this?? Its a 04 (if that helps)

Could be the switch. You'll need to replace it to get the shifter to work. You can use a toggle switch temporarily if you need to drive the car to get parts.

Just so you know, you can permanently bypass that brake interlock if you know kids won't be in the car with it running, or if you know the car won't get knocked into gear accidently without the brake. My Explorer is that way and it's very nice to not have to rely on the brake.
