well tightening as far as i could was, still not very tight. i think its the accesory belt cause its the only one i messed with today and now its even worse, im confused i mqay try loosening it i dont know

I assume your belts are serpentine. You shouldn't put any type belt dressing on the flat belts. Dressing was made for the v-belts but still didn’t work that well on them either. If there’re making noise replace them.

take off 1 belt at a time to try to see what one is pissing it off..then go from there..sounds like a plan to me .>>>????

Dood, just replace the belt, its cheap, 90% chance its the belt being worn out. I had the same problem, took 5 mins to replace the problem and no more noise.

yeah i would just get a new belt their like 25 30 bucks and then you dont have to worry about it also it could be the pullie on the tensioner mine squeeked untill i replaced but rember the threds on the bolt that hold it on are backwards.

nope. pully noise can go away. it doesn't have to be here all the time.

just replace the belt man. While you have it off spin all your pullys and see if any of them feel rough or make noise.

yeah i agree. i had a really bad squeel with my car and someone suggested taking off the belt and starting the car. if you dont have the squeeling. then try turning the pulleys by hand to see if they make noise. i found out that i had a bad alternator that caused my squeeling. my belt is squeeling right now so im going to change it. it went away when i sprayed WD40 on the belt. it looks pretty bad.
