thats like saying if you think that is fast then buy a vette, your an idiot!!!!!!!!!! why is the car with 190 hp running high 14's when another car that is lighter with close hp running almost 16's, and a gt has twice as many pistons

Some RSX-Ss have 210hp, at 2800lbs they are lighter than pretty much all stock V8 Mustangs and because of their 6 speed manual tranny they are able to stay in their peak powerband for more of the time. Don't forget Mustangs are geared worth a **** stock. That being said, no fairly recent GT mustangs ran 16s stock, more like low-mid 15s at worst.

and your comparing this to what? my buddy with a saturn ion (supercharged) beat a kid here on base with a rsx s, and im alot faster than he is.

they are quick because they have 200hp, are lighter than mustangs, and have an 8k rpm redline (yeah...id cream my pants if my car hadan 8k rpm redline). they can stay in their power band alot longer than we can. and i assume your comparing this to a v6 correct? because even a npi GT would takea stock one.

+ 1 on engineering. Weight, power and gearing all come together to make it perform better than a "comparable" car. All that rpm lets them run a low gear, and though torque is low, horsepower is decent and the extra gearing produces the torque at the wheels that isn't made at the engine
