i assume you mean mpg?? if thats true then theres something wrong with my car or something right with his car. i have a feeling if he got less mpg he'd be running more HP. considering my 375 horse pony runs 11mpg street, while babying it as much as possible.

RE: clutch reccomendation
nope... and yea i meant mpg. he just had a hell of a tune on it. cuz ive driven on there with him before. hes at like 3/4 of the way between full and 3/4 tank. and my other friend has an 04' mustang. all bolt ons and a s/c on it runnin 15lbs running 11.2 in the 1/4 and gets 22mpg on the hwy. idk what it is but i wish i was getting that kinda mileage. and the dragstrip is like 47 miles from where we live. so about 15-20 mins away. idk... but i drove out to summit today and picked up the ford racing flywheel and the king cobra clutch kid and a clutch cable. and i got all the alignment tools and whatnot laying around. so hopefully in the spring ill be lookin at high 13's . and i cant wait to throw my 3.73's in too. too bad its 20ยบ outside =(

RE: clutch reccomendation
aha, so you took some advice?? got the new flywheel.... good choice. which one did you go with? billet or regular steel one? good luck with the install in advance. and about those 3.73's i have them in my car and they are good but i think you should go 4.10 if your not running boost. up to you of course.

RE: clutch reccomendation
i already have the 3.73's at my house...got em for free. but 4.10 would be too much for daily driving . and i do highway and driving too. so i think the 3.73's will be good. well the clutch and flywheel i haveo n there now is 10" so i bought the 10.5" flywheel and clutch kit. and the ford racing flywheel was the steel direct bolt in one. so for 300 + tax it wasnt all to bad.

tack another one on for centerforce. haha.
so LX5.0 you really like that dual friction right. i read up on it a while ago and im gonna get one when i drop the tranny. its comfortable for the street? does it snap back good tho? i want something that will disengage softly and snap back quick.
