Default rebuild motor! LOSE BOLTS!

wen u build a motor and torque all the bolts down to the right specs will they tend to loosen up as time goes on ex headers, valve covers, manifold, carb, pullys. i ran my 351 for about 500-1000 miles and checked them and i could just about loosen a few by hand.. is this normal

Torque values are meant to keep bolts from loosening over time and to keep from pulling threads in aluminum.
Some critical torque values will say whether to use lube on the threads for assembly or to put them in clean anddry.
The bolts should'nt be coming loose after a few miles,or ever if you used the right torque values.
