Friends Firebird wouldn't start.......
 

My friends 2000 firebird wouldnt start. Right now its sitting in my driveway.


I gave him a jump once and the car started fine, then he went to drive away and went like 5 feet and the car stalled again. Is is the alternator that is bad because we jumped it again and the same results occured?

Any help would be great cuz its midnight right now lol.

You need a voltmeter to see
if the alternator is putting out enough.
14.5 volts with lights off.
It may be the bat is dead, and a quick jump
will only start him. Any stall out will kill you.
Charge bat for a few hours.
