Default Does anyone know the guidance to escape speed cameras?

My job is of a field officer and I have to visit different places in US. It’s an interesting job, but there are many pros and cons with that like some times I have to face problems because of speed cameras. Do you people have any idea from where can I be saved from such mysterious traps and also abide traffic rules like a good citizen, cause being a citizen is also our primary job. Thanks for your help in advance.

get a can of black spray paint and paint over the license plate. in normal day light you will be able to see your license plate perfectly (the science behind it is real complicated so i won't get into too much detail), but when a traffic camera tries to snap a picture of it, the flash will reflect off the paint and they won't be able to pick up your license plate number.

...or you can just drive the speed limit

The best way to beat the cameras is to not have plates on your car. Just keep the temporary dealer sticker on your car. It's a cheap fix-it ticket if you get stopped for something else. No cop will pull you over on just a suspicion that you didn't buy the car recently.

Spray your license plates with hair spray. Huh? hair spray? yep, thats what I said, most camera's use an infra-red "flash" to snap the picture, hair spray, for whatever reason, reflects the signal and makes the picture blurry. You will have to re-apply after rain or a wash.

PS: don't ask me how I found out this works, long story![8D]

they tested this on myth busters using all the common solutions people say and none worked. including hairspray, paint, reflective tape, etc.

I bet even if Mythbusters found something that worked, they would not be able to brodcast it since the speedtraps would go out of buisness!
