Default 1966 Mustang 302 Questions

I have a 66 with a 302 that has nothing done to it and i want it to run alot better. It is garage kept with crappy paint and a new (used Eagle???) motor. I want it a little faster but want It to run smooth with very little money cause well i'm 16 and BROKE, thanx dad. If anyone has sugestions I'm open. Except for those idiots who say dude run NOS, and say that about every car.

Need more info to really help you! Does it have points? What intake and carb,Headers? The more info on the motor will get you better input as we have no clue as to anything about it!

Stick some lower ratio gears in the rear diff.. fastest/cheapest way to suddenly make your car feel quicker even though it's stillgot the same horsepower

go to junk yard get a center drop out from a mustang 2 3.55 gear that will replace you 2.79 gears. should be 8 inch rear end. You will be happy. Also could change carb and int.
