didnt mean to come down so hard on you but you sound like every other kid out there : ) lol its not a bad thing. And alot of kids these days you may think are spoiled but actually pay alot for their cars. Yeah, I say get a fox. They're pretty cheap, have a V8, they have plenty of power for your first car, maybe even too much depending on how long you've been driving. And they're pretty easy to work on.

And above all insurance.....when I was 20 I tried to get an '01 GT and the chapest company quoted me 350 a month.[:@]

i bought my 94 when i was 16. jim135666 doesnt know whats up, youll be fine. im 18 now and glad that i bought a 5.0. they are so much easier to work on, as well as cheaper to fix.

btw...money saved on car price can be used for mods.

A nice v6 is fine for a new driver. But the odds say you will wreck it in the first 6 months.So i really agree that a beater is a better ideal right now. But aV6 gets better gas mileage and the insurence will becheaper.Good luck and be safe...

Ouch, A 4 cylinder? That seems a little harsh. lol At least tell him to get a V6. I would get at least a 96 or newer V6. You still have the Mustang styling and cheaper insurance than a GT.
