Default Window motor on a 95 gt?

Well i need to remove the motor on the passenger side. I removed the door panel and found that the motor is behind the metal skin on the door, and being held by metal rivets?????? Even the speaker is held in place by rivets. Is this normal? Even if i some how break off the rivets how in the hell do i get the motor out from behind the door? I'am not the DIY type but i must learn how even if i break something..... i can't keep paying people to work on my car. Can anybody walk me through this please. Thanks

that cant be right.my window motor was held in by three bolts, while the speaker was held in by a handful of screws.

just remove the speaker, disconnect the window motor harness, unbolt the window motor and remove it through the speaker hole.

No kidding....... there are metal rivets holding it into place. but i think you helped me out. I was wondering how to get it out from behind the door and you said through the speaker hole. Now i guess i will just drill out the rivets and replace them with screws. Thank you

Any other tips when doing this?

the arms that hold up the glass are held in by rivets. the actual motor itself is held in by bolts. you should be able to take out the speaker and then unbolt the motor and wiggle it out and wiggle the new one back in and bolt it up. if you bought the whole window motor and the arms that go on it then you wil just need to drill out the rivets and replace them with bolts. thats what i done on my drivers side door, but i bought just the motor for the passenger side.
