Vibration on Highway, disappears when coasting.
Hi all. I have looked around and havent found anyone with a problem quite like mine. The car runs perfect, and is great below about 65 or 70 MPH. Once i hit that the car vibrates under load. When i let off the accelerator it coast smooth. Hit the gas, and its back. It is a 94 GT 5.0 ADOE. Any thoughts?

Shut off the overdrive and let the trans shift through all the gears and see if it vibrates as it goes throught the gears. Watch the rpms and see if it vibrates. I think the tires are out of balance. usualy if tires are out of balance the car will vibrate over 65 sometimes at lower speeds, it all depends how much theyare out of balance. Also did you hit or scrap any curbs lately? That can knock em out of balace also. Also its a AODE not ADOE..../grin

my dad had a problem with that on his truck, exact same problem.
i forget the details.. so im not much of a help
but i can tell you this: it was a weight balancing issue [not the tires though]
