MSD Ignition Question's
 

Yo, I just bought the MSD blaster 2 coil and have a couple of Q's. First how do I take off the plastic black cover over where the coil is, second will I need to purchase a coil brace thing or will it fit into whatever stock thing is under the cover? Also what is the difference between 8.0 mm plug wires and 8.5 mm ??? Finally can someone direct me to the correct part # for summit racing, rotor and distributator cap that fit my 92 5.0 ??? Thx a million

there is only like two or three screws that hold on the black cover. after you loosen the screws pull the cover up and it should come out.

The dirrerence between 8.0mm wires & 8.5 mm wires is a half a milimeter. ;) I'm not 100% what they are telling you but typically the thicker wires are better insulated & have a thicker spark transfer core. Overall, depending on your app. (& your pocket book) it would depend of hoow much of a monster you feeding spark to.

P.S. Ever take a look at a half a mm?
