I currently have a a magnflow dual exhuast kit on my 02 v6 and also have the gt bumper installed. When i got my kit put on, the hangers that were included seemed to hang under the cutouts too far. If i would have kept my v6 bumper on, they would have fit just right because a gt has the cutouts and what not. Anywhoo, ive decided that its come time to try to fix that problem. Here is what it looks like from behind:



As you can see(or cant) the tips hang low and you might even be able to see part of the hangers. I ran to the local STS(tire and auto center) which isnt just a local mom and pop shop. They said that it could be done, but i would have to either a: locate hangers to fit or B: bring it in and let them look at it for a couple hours and see what they can do. Which tells me a: might be easier myself to find the hangers and just get a smaller shop to put them on or b: pay money for the guys at STS to stand around and look at it and i get charged for service and what not.

I imagine that i could try to pick up a set of GT hangers off a website perhaps or out of a ford catalog.

i'd cut the hanger in half and cut some off and reweld the hanger this way you don't weld on those nice chrome pipes

v fast, i dont think that any welding would be needed? all i would need to do is get a shorter hanger correct? theres a mount on the pipes i believe, i could be wrong though.

plus i dont know how to weld haha
