Yes, 1999-2004 manifolds are all compatible, as PI manifolds. You can do a manifold swap yourself--As a matter of fact, I just swapped my own manifold for that very same reason: cracked at the temp housing, and leaking coolant. The solution is to get a manifold with the aluminum crossover. You can get a new manifold for about $250 off of eBay. I have the entire process in pictures if you're interested. I'm attaching a picture of the new manifold I put with the aluminum crossover after I torqued it down, but obviously before I reattached fuel rail, alternator, plugs, etc. Let me know if there's any questions I can answer for you. I hope you decide to swap it yourself. It was so much fun to do this (see picture of me after I started the car with no leaks the first time)...hehehe...good luck!

And even though it doesn't matter to you, with a PI setup, my manifold came from a 2003 GT, and my car is 96 GT. Even if you don't have the PI heads, the manifold will torque down with no leaks and no RTV if done carefully.
