I searched for any postings on this and only came up with some older ones that I did not want to resurrect.

I came across this site that tracks fuel prices based on user input. For those of us that try to find the best prices around it can be a resource. Keep in mind that it only works if we the users do more than just search for cheap gas, we need to enter in what we see on the streets.

They even have a site that you get access from your web enabled cell phone for when you are on the road.
