Default 88 GT transmission/clutch

Alright here's the deal, i have moderate technical knowledge and im replacing the clutch in mycar. I'm having a few problems though and i was wondering if anyone could help out.

Is there an easy access point or some angle to get at the top starter bolt, or is it just a bitch?
and what all do i have to do to remove the front part of the exhaust to drop down the transmission? I see the cables that need to come off and the nuts...is there anything else?

the starter bolt depends on you exhaust. ubolt the header and you can get to it. use a moon wrench. if you have shorty headers just unbolt the h-pipe if you have long tubes just unbolt the headers and move out of the way along w/ droping the pipes. drive shaft, cross member, shifter just to be safe, disconect the clutch cable and i believe thats it.

i hate that damn bolt, ive had to take my starter out 4 times now and every time that bolt gives me problems, what i do is get an extension thats just as long as the starter itself that way when the socket is on the bolt your ratchet will just clear the starter and hopefully give you room to be able to swing without hitting the K member.
