haha good story here is another you guys will like. I am driving and a group of guys pull up next to me in an svt contour, well I am in a escort zx2 haha i know it was riced out, I was lil messed up. Anyways they dont know its a girl. he starts to f*** with me so i drop it into 2nd just to laugh at him and then roll my window down to let him see its a girl, he started freaking out yelling THIS IS AN SVT CONTOUR..then shaking his steering wheel i just in a lady like voice stated yes i know nice car my grandma has one...and i think he started to cry...poor guy...well i sold my ricer and got a real car...mustang...enough said

lol, I used to have a contour before my mustang.
Actually, my family still has it and my brothers use it now. I have to say that after driving any other car : mustang, corolla and even a minivan for a certain time it really really sucks.
The motor is almost done for with only 60,000 miles and the transmission is crappy (it's an automatic): We have the 2.0 btw and it sure as hell drinks a lot of gas and it's also very heavy!!!! I calculated and the contour takes about 10L / 100 KM (sorry, i'm canadian) and my mustang takes 13L / 100 KM : so yeah.. it sucks really bad....

as for the contour, i drove one once and hated it...

Nothing, just walk away. People who get into that "my car is the best and all others suck" won't care what you say. They'll just keep making stupid, unintelligent opinion-based remarks and insults.
