Wow, nice, thanks for the input that will definaetly help a lot.. Thanks..

PS- my new exhaust install is done..

BBK LT headers, Custom made catalytic H pipe, SLP Loudmouth Catback..
*Custom made H pipe= cats can be swapped out for "racing pipes" which I did and the sound is really scary..the exhaust with my cam i really feel like I'm driving a NASCAR and i love it

Here's the thing, we (or anybody else) cannot give you good advice until you tell us the rest of your combo. Is the car stick or auto, what rear gears, what else is done/going to be done, as far as mods? Your best bet is to call a cam company's tech line and they will guide you through the selection process. Comp and crane are both good companies; keep in mind you more than likely need new valve springs as well. Just remember a cam not a magic wand; it won't do much without other supporting mods

I put that phrase there just to aggravate Obsol3te as he likes the funny gas and using it is the only way he is quicker than me!

too fast on the "enter"...

There is no such thing as a 3/4 cam.

It started out as a term to mean that it's almost a "full race" cam.

Nice try on the 3/4 inch which is way too big on almost anything but a "full race" car.

The lift on your cam is more in the .5~ inch lift range, which would make it a 1/2 race cam which doesn't sound very intimidating.

Well you're uncle may know a thing or two about muscle cars with carbs, but you need the MAF to be efficient in making power. Without it the car will run rich on a default safety setting because it can only estimate how much air is going into the cylinders. The MAF gives the OBDI computer a more accurate reading of airflow at the exact temp. Trust me, connect it again or get a 80mm. Also, you will be running extremely rich with the 42# injectors if the computer isn't tuned for them. If you want to play around with tuning, get megasquirt. You can tune for E85 with the 42#ers and get 30mpg with big hp.
Either way, good luck.
