I am not a mechanic by any means so i need some help...

On my 1995 mustang v6 i am having some electrical problems, first off, i tried to install a new aftermarket CD player by JVC and none of the wires are the same colors between the car and the radio so i am lost there, also, i hooked the power up and tested it it worked, then once i started my car i got a whole list of problems..

-clock no longer works
-dash lights dont work
-speedometor does not work
-UNLOCK button does not work but the LOCK one does (i am really lost there)

So... yeah i think it may be a fuse but idk exactly where the fuse box is on this car and idk what fuses i need to buy and which ones are bad, so i need some help and segestions and/or wiring diagrams if any of you could help me that would be most appretiated, thanks fellas!

OH and i have a cobra hood on it too and i have NO IDEA where to find the little plastic covers for the scoops.

did you buy a wiring harness for your car? you will connect the harness you buy with the harness that comes with the radio by matching the colors. then it should just plug right in. and your new radio should have a clock in it.
and your switch might be bad on the lock/unlock situation. will the switch on the passenger side door work both lock and unlock?
and you can get the inserts for the cobra hood quite a few places. the first place that popped up was here.
not quite sure about the speedo, clock, or dash lights...

maybe you blew a fuse messin with the wires. and yeah you need a wiring kit i put a cd player in my 95 and only took a few min of reading and plugging things in with the wiring kit.

If all your fuses are ok, I'd reverse everything you did and start over.

fuses are fine and the clock, unlock, and spedometer works, but the radio worked then it mysteriously stopped working like it will turn on then turn off, also my dash lights still dont turn on, idk if i accedentally adjusted the brightness but idk where the brightness changer is on my car

i fixed it all, it was some stupid wiring and a burnt out light switch, thanks for the help fellas
