Default Installed new H-pipe now car runs rich

I have a 92 convertible mustang just installed new H-pipe (offroad) no the car is running rich.
has a heavy fuel smell out the exhaust.is this a o2 sensor problemwithout the cats?and what can i do as a solution to this? New chip?all help is appreciated!

the only reason it smells like gas is because you have no cats. your cats eliminate the smell of fuel. as long as you reset your computer, your fine.

An 02 simulater would make your car think it still running with cats. I have had a couple of cars without cats and I never smelled fuel coming out the exhaust unless the carberater was set to run rich.

You need to get Mill eliminators, also if you are running O2 sensors still then its possible one isnt connected or one is broken, when I had my tranny out the shop forgot to hook my O2 sensors up and it ran hella rich, then I pluged em back in and used an OBDII to fix the code and it ran great after that.
