Need some CDC shaker hood info.

I'm gonna be ordering a new 2008 GT in the beginning of May and want to get a CDC shaker hood. If the car has a GT appearence package when the hood scoop comes off will there be any damage done to the hood, or should I just not get the GT appearance package? Also anyone have any ideas as to how much this would cost to have a professional bodyshop install?

The hoodscoop is bolted on, and the holes will be outside of the area removed for the shaker.

Thanks for the info, thats good to know before I made a big mistake. Anyone have any idea how much a bodyshop charges for installation?
