Every station I see here in illinois has the 10% ethanol blemd too. i wish we had a station selling pure fuel. Stations gotta get that $ for the blend in.

yeah, watered down gas sucks. happened to me yesterday, i'm stranded about 100 miles from home and have no way to fix it. think im just gonna disconnect the filter and let it all drain then refuel. haha...

The blending isnt the gas stations fault or the gas company. It's Required by the state.

where in jersey was that at? i get my gas mostly from sunoco on 46 west in palisades park. never had a problem with water, but i have had a few problems with some of the pumpers not putting the damn cap on tight enough!

I got gas from this one gas station that always made my check engine light come on. I would get CRAPPY gas milage. After i filled up somewhere else it would go off and get normal milage... so its happend to me..

Yes, gas companies are thinning down the gasoline, but it's with 10% methanol not water.

Pisses me off to, because I'm still paying the same amount as if it were 100% gasoline.

I only buy from hess because they dont import any barrels of oil..its all US oil.


But if you think you have water in your gas..cant you put alcohol in it? because you can burt alcohol and it mixes with water
