just reading on the new edge mustangs
 

I was killing time before I have to go to work. When i read from a couple of sites that the 1999 gt did 0-60 in 5.5 and 13.9 1/4 mile while the 2004 gt did 0-60 in 6.3 seconds and 1/4 mile in 14.5. this seams realy slow for the 2004 gt. If this is true why is the 1999 faster than the 2004 same engine hp and torque. basicly same car diffrent year. or am I missing something.

that sounds terribly wrong. the 99 numbers sound right, tbut the 04 should have the same numbers since it has same motor and everything.

are you sure those numbers werent from a stick 99 and an auto 04??

that would create the difference.

My thought exactly. 13.9 for the manual and 14.5 for the auto.
