Default tuning the stang for better MPG's

my 2000 gt gets 17/20 mpg's
i hear some tunings can get better. anyone know of a chip or tuning to increase MPG's?

All vehicles have to be tuned for multiple climates... Everything from cold starts in an Alaskan winter, to ultra-hot idles in Las Vegas in July. You *COULD* tune your engine for better gas mileage in the climate where you live, but you probably wouldn't like the way your car runs.

Easiest thing to get better MPG is to not do jack rabbit starts, drive her easy and keep your foot out of the accelerator.

Airflow mods usually help with MPG.
CAI, Plenum, TB, headers, mid pipe, mufflers, cats.
