Plan on buying 02 S/C GT - have some questions
I posted this in new members but i know not a lot of people check it so im posting this here as well to get some feedback. I am currently driving a 96 V6 mustang but I am looking at a 02 Mustang GT convertible with a Vortech S/C.
I have a couple of questions and would like your opinions on whether or not this car would be a good buy.
Is the 4.6L engine able to handle a Vortech Supercharger with 10psi with an aftercooler for a daily driver? The car only has 26,000 miles on it and the current owner put the supercharger on when the car had about 5,000 miles. The car has not been tuned and has other mods such as magnaflow mid-pipe, flowmaster catback, 3:73 gear, rear tires 275x18, fronts 255x18 and its been lowered. The seller is asking a very reasonable price...
The mustang is a convertible and the seller advised me that it slightly leaks when there is heavy rain. The water drips behind the rear seats into part of the plastic from the top. Are repairing leaks to the top expensive?
Thanks guys

I'm new to the performance aspect of cars. How bad is it for the car to drive it without a tune? One of the first things i would do to the car is get a tune and full exhaust. I went for a ride in the car and it seemed ok.
