clutch pedal sticks to floor

clutch pedal sticks to floor
I have a 69 mach with a 351W and a toploader. I recently had a SPEC clutch put in and now the clutch pedal will stick to the floor. The car will still shift and drive but if the pedal is put to the floor it will generally stick there. Prior to this the z-bar was bending and I had it fixed and a brace welded onto it. SPEC reports no problems of this nature and suggests that it is in the linkage somewhere. ???

RE: clutch pedal sticks to floor
Is the clutch springs on the pressure plate going past center and then not pushing the arm back?? Did you replace the cable when you replaced the clutch?? Maybe the cable is old?? Just thinking out loud.
