it smells pretty bad when you first start it up. chalky to be exact. NO fun if you stand in it fr a second, the smell adheres to your clothes like glue and doen't go away. I have a vert and never smell it at a light. I might be use to it though.

I did for a year when I had my 04 mach1. It was my DD. When I do lt's on my cobra I'm going to go with a catted midpipe. The smell isint to bad when driving, The thing that I hate is coming home every day with my clothes smelling like gas fumes. Especially when I have to go to school or somewhere where i have to get dressed up nice. Ainte nothing like showing up to a nice dinner with your g/f or family and smell like gas fumes lol.

Yea, catted midpipes are a huge waste of money. No one ever gets caught and your just paying a whole lotta money for no HP. Might as well stay stock if you plan on going catted. Call me crazy, but i think mustangs sound better stock than they do with a catted mid pipe. They lose the bass deepness they did when it was just the muffler

it shouldn't be too bad, especially if the car is tuned correctly and everything, i have had o/r x pipes on every mustang i have owned and it usually smells bad for the first like week and then it goes away, or maybe i'm just used to it lol
