17's on a V6
just wanted to make sure but would a 2007 or 2008 mustang gt rims and tires fit on my 2001 v6 mustang???
thanks |
RE: 17's on a V6
No I think the bolt pattern or rim offset is different

RE: 17's on a V6
Correct, the offset is wrong. Tire size from the factory is wrong as well.

17s are too small anyway, get 18's at least. Go to tirerack.com to find rims and tires that match your exact vehicle. Then buy them cheaper off ebay.

17's aren't too small. They are a great match for the car. 18's for the most part are overkill.

RE: 17's on a V6
what size are your rims..? It looks like you've got 19s on there, or you've dropped the car about 3.5" to get rid of all the fender gap. Our wheel wells are ginormous, you could easily put 20's on there. I'm regretting getting 18's, wish I had gotten at least 19's. If you want the rims for looks, get 18's at least, if not bigger. If you want performance, stick with 16s, you'll get much more speed.

ORIGINAL: LilRoush 17's aren't too small. They are a great match for the car. 18's for the most part are overkill. You can get a set of 18in rims and tires that are 10" thick in the back and 9" in the front for just over $1000. |
