How to best learn about my 93 Mustang?
I have a 93 5.0 Mustang GT convertible, which is my dream car. I want to make a number of mods to it, as it is a stock car now, but I know next to nothing about cars. Does anyone have any recommendations on how I can learn quickly so I don't get 'had' when I get work done on it? Any books, mags, online info?
Thanks!
Thanks!

You can also pick up a service manual specific to your car and do some maintenance work. That is how I started, I quickly became very interested. Later on I begged my parents to pay for me to take classes at night to learn more which was extremely invaluable.
Of course I know a lot of guys that self taught themselves everything and they're probably better mechanics than most people who work on cars for a living.
