03 GT starts then immediately dies

03 GT starts then immediately dies
2003 Mustang GT Convertible, every other time i try to start, itstarts up then immediately dies. Service engine light was on, code P0340 (Cam Position Sensor Circuit fault), I replaced cam sensor, helped for a day or two, then it went back to the way it was. any input would be helpful. thanks
