1995 - Headlights go out for no reason - any suggestions
I have a 1995 Cobra Hardtop Convertible. The car has always run great and never any issues with electrical problems. This morning, I am driving to the gym and the headlights/fog light all of a sudden go out. I turn them off and back on and nothing. The yellow driving lights and rear tail lights are still on, but no headlights. I give it a few minutes and turn them off and back on and they come on. A few minutes later, they go out again.
I looked at it tonight and made sure all the fuses were seated properly and nothing was loose. I tested the high-beam flash and it works even when the main headlights don't work.
Anyone else experienced this? I haven't completely jumped into the wiring yet, so any suggestions would be great. Is the only fuse for the headlights in the inside fuse box or is there one under the hood? Since the bright light flash works, could it be the main switch?
Any help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks
