Default Choice of Sparkplugs?

Whats peoples thoughts on sparkplugs, id rather not purchase Japanese plugs "ngk" to put in my stang? Which sparkplugs are the best ones to buy for performance, and that wont need to be replace due to being P.O.S?

I like the Iridium plugs, I ran the Denso plugs in my Mark VIII, but they don't really last that long. I would say 40K miles MAX.

I put double plats in my MK VIII and they lasted quite awhile but when I took one out to check the electrodes,,,,,,,they were almost worn away! (about 80,000mi on the plugs)

The little platinum pills were still there doing the job they were designed for but everything around them was about to break off and let little discs find their way around the cylinders unguided.
Double plats give good service life but they don't last forever.

The local Ford tuner here swears by NGK plugs, he said they're the best for making power and he's proved it multiple times on the dyno. Only $2 each also ^_^
