i just install head and tail light covers from am.
my QUESTION IS are these meant to be removable?? it seems like they are held on my some velcro type material...

i think i would need to take them off when i wash my car as water would seep under the cover

Yes they're meant to be removable. Were you gonna drive at night with your headlight covers in place?

I drove home one night years ago with smoked covers from GTS. Didnt realize it until i got home. And all the while i was wondering why my headlights were dimmer than usual.

Smoked covers are considered off-road & show use only, not for street driving. Some cops (probably all) will pull you over if they see them. I got caught once in clear blue skies but if i didnt remove them, it wouldve been a $300 fine. I never used them again not only because of that but the on & off with every wash or night-time outing got annoying.

But if i can find clear ones, id use them again. Getting tired of shopping carts bustin my markers!

Most places don't mind smoked headlight covers on during the day, but they'll nail you at night if they're on. Some cops hate'm day or night.

Also years ago I bought an 86GT with smoked headlight & taillight covers. My friends used to tell me it was almost impossible to see my brakelights during the day(!) am surprised I didn't get a ticket for that.

..are taillight covers soo cool to have that it is worth risking your pride & joy get smashed in a rear end collision?
