not yet, i was about to hack the resonators in the back....but ive heard that torque suffers from this.....i was gonna replace them with a pipe of course...
soo am i gonna lose torque?
I'm not quite sure. Depends how much **** was in the resonators, but my guess is that it will gain a small amount of power up high, but probably not down low.

I have a 2001 Lincoln Continental. I baby the car and take care of it. Everything is stock. I can tell you that the engine in my specific 2001 is a 345HP Ford 4.6L DOHC V8. Same as Cobra 4.6L (without supercharger). I can get 0-60 in 9 sec on flat stretch of road. It's not bad for stock, but I also live in NY, different oil for climate, and tested road is flat terrain. I would not recommend modding because of the FWD tranny. If you want luxury and speed, get an used Police CV Interceptor. They sell starting at $300 in my area requiring minor work and maybe a paint job to get rid of the ugly black amd white. They have the 4.6L supercharger. You can install the Lincoln leather / power seats (awesome luxury mod). You can even install the Lincoln bucket seat dash and interior if you really know what you are doing. From this engine, you can install your Cobra mods such as Twin Turbo. If you Google, there is a company that makes a twin turbo kit that works with the supercharger. You could do transmission cooler upgrades, exhaust upgrades, and maybe remove the ugly police spotlight and custom paint job, and Taurus style spoiler might look nice. If you go this route, you'll have lean, mean, and luxurious starting on a budget, and adding upgrades and mods as you go.
