Cheap Synthetic oil VS good conventional oil?
What do you think?
Would say a cheap synthetic oil (ie: Wal-mart SuperTech) is better, as good or stay away from a leading conventional oil (ie: Castrol GTX) for the same grade?

This is merely my opinion...I would rather run a top flight dino oil than a ghetto snth for reasons that are purely my own. Oil is the most important preventative maintenace product going and it's inexpensive. Don't skimp on a bottomfeeding brand, 4.4L of Mobil 1 is $38 and works incredibly for long durations. Buck up...

dont know if you have any advanced auto stores near you, but the one by me is running a special of:
Buy 5 Quarts of MOBIL 1 Synthetic Motor Oil, High Mileage Synthetic or Extended Performance Synthetic AND a MOBIL 1 Oil Filter
for $29.88
Worth to check out if you want synthetic.

Well, once you go synthetic, you should never use the conventional again. I don't really know why, that is just what they say. I agree though. You can get synthetic that lasts for about 10k miles that is relatively inexpensive for what you are getting. Oil isnt that much and it is worth it in my opinion to get something good.
