you would need the wiring harness i would think. the computer for the engine, and make sure that the motor mounts are the same. it would be like me putting in a ls7 505 hp in my 04. do it man. it will make your gt go like heck!!!

I'm sure its going to be more complicated than that but it would certainly be a unique swap if you could pull it off. You may have to use a different k member, etc. to make it work but not sure. Try doing some extensive searching and see what you can come up with.

the trick is with the computer, if you can retain the 2007 computer it shouldnt be that bad, logan motorsports has the throttle by wire conversion. if you use the stock computer than you would have to swap out the vvt with adjustable cam gears. the 3v motor is worth it, but depending upon how much your paying the saleen motor is probably not, its not forged as far as I know

the only real saleen motor is the 302 in the parnelli jones...more than likely you are getting a regular GT 4.6 3 valve with a saleen blower. Depending on the pulley that blower could be putting the car above the 430rwhp range. Generally the 3v motors safety limit is considered 450rwhp however I have seen JDM tune saleens to 500+ rwhp on an otherwise stock motor with 0 problems. However with a stock 5r55s auto transmission don't expect it to stay together with a lot of hard launches at the track or from red lights lol. The 4.6 also is not forged and I would make sure your driveshaft and transmission are able to withstand the power from the blower. Also would your exhaust system bolt up to the 3v motor? I'm not sure about sn95 stock manifolds or aftermarket headers bolting up to an S197 block. It's 2.5 inches all the way back, not sure what the sn95's are. Also everyone else said the S197 computer is needed which is 100% correct due to the vct and drive by wire. It sounds like this swap would be more of a headache than anything

i know of more than 4 05+ Gts that were tuned over 475 rwhp - all have blown, they have better heads, not better rods

when it comes to saleen blowers I trust JDM they make exceptional tunes for them. I agree with you on the rods of the 3v though, they aren't the strongest

Is the SN95 already a V8?? If it's a V6 now,, you have a TON of other things to upgrade if swapping in an 8
