If the theif mucked up the wiring harness then you might have to take it to a Ford dealer to get them to straighten it out. Are there any loose connectors or cut wires?

yes they did cut a couple wires under the dash.I talked to a tech at the dealership i told him im really broke(which is true)and explained to him what happened and he told me there is something wrong inbetween the ignition to the pcm any help?I wired it back up myself just matched color to color and it wont crank over.oOn the cluster it says theft so i looked it up in the manual and i got it to turn the light off but still not cranking over

The ECU is very sensitive to short circuits and voltage surges.. there's a chance the chip might be fried That's why they also say to be VERY CAREFUL when giving an ECU equipped car a jump start.

nah man everythings cool, well not cool for you but your car is ok. you can't do it yourself it has to go to a dealership. when the car was broken into the ecu either cuts spark to the car or stops the starting circuit completely. you'll need to take the car to the dealership and they'll need to fix the cut wires and then "wake" the car back up from theft mode. its an easy fix but kinda pricey to hook the IDS(Integrated Diagnostic Scanner/System) up to it and reverse what those jack asses did

i used to work for a Ford dealership in knoxvile tn and i've seen it alot people don't realize what a PATS system is or how to get around it lol
