looses oil pressure at idle.
When my daughters car is warmed up, in idle and low RPMs, the oil pressure drops to about 15 ( the scale one the gauge is from 0 to 100). Oil level is good, no pinging or tapping of the engine. Any ideas???

hell my gt 500 got 10 psi at idle hot in park .....just idled it for an hour..seems ok...

Sounds like a oil pump problem I would have it looked at soon. Don't let that slide. Had a friend who just ignored it and cost him a motor.

Oil pressure sending unit. I would check that first and then go to your oil pump

even could be a partial clogged oil pump pickup, wore cam bearing..etc

it could be the oil pump but if the car has high miles it could be the main bearings to [:@]
