Unhappy A/C not blowing thru vents?

The air conditioning works...it blows cold air thru the defroster and thru the floor vents just not thru the dash vents. It worked on my way to the restaurant last night but not on my way home. Almost like its blocked or something. Anybody know why or how to fix it?? It's a 2005 model.

Thanks!....Tasha

It's a vacuum hose in the engine compartment. Mine did the samething on my 1997 v6 and it was located up top going into the driver side firewall. The hose is very small but long and hard plastic.

It either be a vacuum hose or a blend door problem.

Default What turned out to be the problem?

Did you get this fixed? What was the problem? I'm having the same issue. My air conditioning only blows out the top and bottom vents the past week. However, yesterday the air kepts blowing in the top and bottom vents but this time it was not cold air. I'm at a loss. I'm trying to take out the middle dash but there are two screws that are deep in the dash that need to be removed. They look like star type screws. I don't know what size they are and they need to be removed in order to pull off the middle portion of the dash. Any help would be greatly appreciated here in HOT Florida.

I have a 94 GT by the way. (302).
