Yes or keep a good eye on it.
I did the same on my car.I found that if you keep the blower motor on high then it takes a long time to freeze up.But with my car it is not that easy.My A/C blows about 38 to 40 degrees.So it gets cold fast.When I turn it down every five minutes I turn the Vent on for about a minute or Two to defrost the evaperator.
