0-60 and top speeds for 03 stangs
 

Hey, I am comparing a whole list of cars since I'm in the market for one, and two of the aspects of my comparison are 0-60 times and top speed. I've tried finding the info online, but with no success after googling for about an hour. Does anyone here know the 0-60 times and top speeds of the stock 2003 Mustang V6, and 2003 Mustang GT?

It wasn't too hard to find. Most people say between 5.7-6.0 seconds for the GT with a limiter set at 155 or 160mph, what it will actually hit I don't know. As far as the V6, I have no idea. Why would top speed matter in your criteria in a new car? It is not smart to go that fast unless you are on a track, and even then I highly doubt you could hit top speed.

I dont know the times but I see your in a Probe....

No matter what mustang you get you will notice a huge difference from that haha. I raced a guy in a Probe vs. my Mustang and Spanked him it was kind of funny.

V6 will pull mid 7s with 5 speed and a good driver. Speed limiter is at 118.
But only an idiot would car about stock top speed of a car.

I used to own a Probe GT before I got my Mustang and I beat quite a few V6 Mustangs on the 1/4 mile with nothing but bolt-ons. But a RWD is always more fun than a FWD

0-60 is mid to high 5's. Top speed in an all stock GT..well it will pull to 130 hard..but 5th gear sucks. I'd say 145-150 with a long enough road. Don't try it too often. In fact top speed runs should never happen but I have done them but my car rarely goes past 130. I have hit 149 out of my GT before though. But I now have H-rated tires and don't plan on dieing anytime soon.

yea on 5 speed gt 4th gear ends at around 130 at redline

redline in 5th would be like 200... but we dont have enough hp to hit redline, we migth be able to hit 145ish in 5th before you need more HP to gain more top speed

0-60 5.5-6 sec depending on tires

Just FYI - don't listen to these guys flapping their gums. Our stock speedos aren't even close to accurate at top speed. Stock Mustangs are not just governed, but are power limited, gear limited and aerodynamically limited at much over 130mph.
