Dude, tomabron, lay off it man, just because he is 13 doesnt mean hes blind and/or cant control a steering wheel. Im only 16 and if i hadnt started putting around with my dad when i was like 14 i would not be able to drive as well as i do now. i dunno, id say as long as you have tons of room, supervision close and not on a main street or not doign ne thing stupid (like a burn out with ur uncle in the cay ) youll be fine. and i live in LA, so trust me, hell be fine.

I really can't believe there was so much said on this issue of a seriously underage driver on public streets.

Laws are there for a reason, EVERYONES protection, not cause someone wants to joyride and put others at risk.

It's one thing to practice on a farm where there are no other cars and quite another to be in parking lots and side streets where law abiding motorists are present. He should stay off the streets until he's of legal age, period.

The level the response's sank to surprised me. Talking about someone's ***** in a jar cause he didn't believe in someone breaking the law and putting other's lives at risk? Come on, he obviously has courage to stand up and say that he agrees with the law. While we may not agree with all the laws, they are there for a reason. Have you ever heard the phrase "common Sense"??? Maybe you need to loosen up lady and go out and get ****. How many folks here young or old would want his or her Mustangs totaled or damaged in any way because of someone like you advocating breaking the law? Not many I think.

That's the most appropriate smily face to such a preposterous comment of mine. Just kidding, bro---If it were true, I certainly wouldn't say it. It's like when you were in middle-school and the guys told "your momma" jokes. All you would need to do is respond: "My mother died of leukemia a year ago..." and look very sad. They would come and say they're sorry, and then YOU'D be the one laughing at them....

Oh, God. I never grew up....lol
