Default Used Leather Seats or re apols

What do you think?</P>

Is it better to scavange for mustang wrecks with Leather apolstery or do you think its simpler and cheaper to have them Redone? Especial Being Redone means Youcould addlower back support or maybe a mesh center?</P><edited><editID>Jenevieve</editID><editDate>37929.5203125</editDate></edited>

redone all the way. The leather used in mustangs is always so crackaly looking and stupid, plus with all that power you dont want to be sliding around tooo much.

I hate leather period.

it's sticky int he summer, hot as hell, cold as s**t in the winter, lets you slide everywhere when your'e taking a turn pertty fast.

I'll take cloth with a belt wrapped around the seat and my chest anyday ;-)

I have Lupus and its a problem climbing down into my stang even at 4'7" tall so I went to the reupolstery shop he wants $365.00 a chair for Dark Gray Leather with the top and bottom. Centers a blackMesh Material to prevent sliding and stay cooler. This includes redoing the padding on the lower seat and the lumbar back. and just adding the lumbar on the pasanger. Hopefully he will have it done soon while he has the driver and pasanger seat out i will take a photo of them beside each other.</P>

Damn, did you grab your ankles for this guy? I sure as hell wouldn't of paid $365 per seat!!!! You can get a new convertible top for a car, which takes way more labor and skill for cheaper!!</P>

Well Vfast after 4 different shops he isnt just adding the padding he is removing and using all new padding to make sure it fits me right also he is taking the backs from the bottoms. So when he puts on the leather mesh he can sew it with a machine just like factory. Everyone else wanted to add pieces and hand sew then together on the chairs. I saw a finished F-150 Bench seat and the perfect sewn seam's etc and saw allot of quality. So 6 of one hlaf dozen of another on e-bay used ford leather is going for $400 plus shipping.</P>
